Patagonia Drifters (PD), is a flyfishing guide service located in the Patagonia of southern Chile. Patagonia Drifters has been in business for over a decade, and is privately owned and operated by Monte Becker, one of the first guides to explore the Patagonias white water and flyfishing float trips. He has since trained several expert guides to meet the needs of any level of fisherman.

PD's trips have been featured on ESPN Outdoors television program, listed in FlyfishingTravel.com magazine, as well as recognized with Orvis and Cabelas Outfitters as a premiere flyfishing guide service.
Patagonia Drifters offers customized flyfishing trips for people of all abilities and tastes. We offer comfortable lodging, meals, and the trip of a lifetime. Whether you are a beginner to advanced caster you can expect a day full of catching fish. The advanced caster should see several dozen 15-19 incher's in a given day. Fish in the 20-30 inch range are landed every week. Also in the rivers are King and Coho salmon, as well as Sea Run Brown trout which can end up stripping through the backing on our reels.

What is the fishing like? We have slow days and we have incredible ones- but that is "fishing". Fortunately, a slow day to us is a great day to most people. However, this is not only an invitation to experience fantastic trout fishing for wild trout. It is an opportunity to escape the winter of the northern hemisphere and explore an exotic part of our planet. From the isolated culture of the pioneers that settled Patagonia, to its Flora and Fauna that will captivate the curios at every bend of the river, to the dramatic glaciated peaks always silently watching from above- you will not be disappointed.

To get to our neck of the woods, it's a bit of a journey. But for those folks with a little wanderlust and an insatiable desire for large wild trout on a fly, Patagonia is definitely for you.. It is a maze of glaciated mountains, crystalline rivers and dense old growth forests. Modern air service and a road system still under construction has allowed us to develop our fishing program around waters that had never been floated before. After numerous explorations, some of them overwhelmingly successful, some better forgotten, we have acquired a quiver full of first class waters.
